Boy Meets World was one of the better shows on TV. If you were too young to experience Wendy from The Wonder Years, watching Topanga’s top half develop over the series during your adolescent years was your second chance at a blessing. Corey correcting his conundrums with the occasional wisdom coming from Mr. Feeny was cool too. What may come as a surprise, William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), is still alive. During the time of taping he looked to be around 102, give or take a few years. My guess is he has the secret to immortality since he’s managed to survive this long. But just because someone is immune to death doesn’t mean they’re immune to being burglarized. Daniels was able to stop the robbery about to take place all by himself without being equipped with the suggested AR-15 that Americans are recommended to keep by the begonias. All Daniels needed was electricity.

William Daniels, who played Mr. Feeny in Boy Meets World, stopped an attempted burglary at his home over the weekend.

TMZ reports that Daniels, 91, and his wife Bonnie Bartlett were at their San Fernando Valley home Saturday night when someone tried to kick in the back door at 9:20 p.m. Daniels quickly turned on the lights, prompting the intruder to flee the property.

His rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE in a statement: “Someone tried to break in to the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Daniels on Saturday evening. Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded. They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern.”

If I had to take a stab at who the intruder could possibly be, I’d say it was possibly Corey’s older brother Eric Matthews. His career basically dissolved into voice acting and doesn’t get too much work these days. Maybe he wanted some advice from Feeny on how to fix his life or maybe he wanted his social security check for a quick fix. The world may never know.
