Blackbar is unlike most games you've probably already played. It's an all-text game completely done up in black and white. If someone peeks over your shoulder, then it'll look like you're reading an eBook or something (so it should be fine to play this game while you're at work. Just saying.)
It's essentially a cross between a choose-your-adventure game and a crossword puzzle, so it should be intellectually challenging. Maybe unlike the brainless zombie shooters you love to play so much, but give it a chance--it might just get you hooked.
The story that unfolds incorporates dystopian and sci-fi elements and sneaks in a strong message that you didn't see coming. Without giving too much away, it has a lot to deal with censorship, the suppression of free speech, and the will of the human spirit. It's especially relevant in this day and age, if you know what I mean.
