GAMING

If your video game character is going to be operating and fighting in a city floating in the sky, that city is going to be as significant as any other character in the game. And make no mistake, Bioshock Infinite intends to use every single one of those characters to drive what's shaping up as one of the best stories in a video game. As for Columbia, it sure makes the year 1912 look way more exciting than we're given in American history class. I mean, no income tax and all hard drugs being legal and widely available is all good, but a flying city!? That is how you re-create the good old days if you're gonna go the nostalgia route. They barely had cars that could go 40mph back then, but we're supposed to believe this vision of America had flying cities? Hell, we just saw Nick Fury come within an eyelash of losing his flying aircraft carrier if Tony Stark and the Avengers hadn't stepped in to help and that thing had four propellers.
Have a look at this latest trailer for Bioshock Infinite and fire up your hype-o-meter because this and GTA V are on my list for best stories of the year in video games.
