Ben Affleck Still Battling Booze Addiction

Ben Affleck is all about the booze, Tom Brady, and blaming his personal problems on other people. A completely blitzed Ben went on a rant in 2016 on a show called Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons defending Tom Brady from deflategate. Within the first couple seconds of the video you instantly become aware that if he were to be given a breathalyzer he would blow over the legal limit allowed to sit in the passenger seat of a Prius driving in school zone. You can see the amount of focus on Bill’s face concentrating on not turning head while gusts of Tequila breath is blown in his direction from across the table. It was this exchange that alerted the world Affleck couldn’t handle his liquor and since his secret butt buddy Brady recently lost Super Bowl LII Ben is guaranteed to relapse and break the few days of sobriety he maintained at any moment now. His father Tim is blaming Hollywood.

Back in December, Affleck checked into rehab for the third time in less than a year. These days, he's out of treatment and reportedly sober, but after falling off the wagon so many times, Ben is no doubt aware that alcoholism is a lifelong battle. Ben's father, Tim Affleck, has also struggled with addiction. It seems the elder Affleck believes his son's struggles are mainly the result of the career he chose. “Hollywood is a disgusting place!” Tim told the outlet. “I’m not a big fan of the entertainment world. I know it’s taken its toll [on Ben].”

It’s amazing how having loads of fame and money can drive a person to drink in excess everyday. I personally know people with the same problem who haven’t starred in The Town or set foot in Hollywood. So how much is being a celebrity to blame for making bad decisions? At the very least being a rich and famous fuck up is better than being the guy who smells like Smirnoff and soiled underwear outside of the bar. That guy doesn’t get the pleasure of divorcing women like Jennifer Garner so quit the belly aching and own your mistakes.
