Bella Hadid Sells Out!

Last week Bella Hadid shared that she had been working on a secret project with the fashion label Chrome Hearts for the last 8 months. Bella spent a few days this summer Tie Dyeing some t-shirts on her lawn in anticipation to sell them with this special launch.

The model released some promo shots of barbie dolls wearing mini versions of the brands jeans and Bellas limited edition tops. It's a pretty great campaign and it seems like it was a total success, the launch sold out in 5 minutes. Here's a look at the collection and what Bella had to say about the project!

"As the pandemic started eight months ago, the feeling of panic and sadness infiltrated throughout the planet...I began every morning just sitting with my thoughts, hoping I could manifest happiness and full stomachs for anyone struggling. Unfortunately, I’d have to say that I am not that powerful, but I knew I had to my put my energy in somewhere to help.

The thought of how lucky I was to be healthy, safe, fed, and loved while there were so many families and children feeling the exact opposite would completely overwhelm my brain every single day, from the minute I woke up to the minute I went to sleep. I was devastated thinking about children not eating lunch school or parents not being able to provide for their families, the way they would like to, and deserve to.

With them in mind, I decided to sit every day for a few months to personally tie-die these shirts, just for you, in hopes that i could eventually sell them for Feedingamerica. Always in contact, I was constantly inspired by The Stark family at Chrome Hearts. They constantly utilize their resources to manufacture PPE, while protecting the health and well being of their workers.
