In the 80's there was one company that created some of the worst films of the decade. Cannon Films produced dozens of horrible movies, ostly dumb action flicks with lots of tits. But occasionally, they would create a movie that was awesome. Still terrible, but awesome. One of these was directed by Cannon head Menahem Golan and it is the jingoistic masterpiece Delta Force.

Inspired by a real event, A group of Lebanese terrorists hijack an airplane full of Americans. You can't send diplomats to deal with this kind of nonsense. No, you need to send Lee Marvin and Chuck Norris. These two action hero legends lead a a special forces team to extract the passengers. As far as a plot, that's it. The rest of the movie involves Chuck and Lee killing about a billion Lebanese terrorists with machine guns and karate chops.

As far as sensitivity to Muslims, this movie doesn't give a crap. It is unabashedly jingoistic the way only an immigrant, (like Golan), could make it. Still, if you want a pro-America film in which a lot of people get shot, this movie is for you.
