Asteroid Will Come Close to Hitting Earth on 2/15 Which Means I’m Still Stuck Buying a Valentine’s Day GIft

Scienticians are saying that an asteroid about 150 feet wide will buzz by Earth on February 15th, passing just 17, 100 miles away from us, the closest for an asteroid of that size in recorded history. Though don't worry, we're assured that the rock won't actually hit the planet, which means my planned 'Come on baby, don't you want to do it at least once before the world ends tomorrow?' line I was going to use on my Valentine's Day date will have to go back in the drawer until next time.

It is scary to know that we really are just at the whim of gravity and physics as to whether or not this planet of ours actually exists (also the tiny rock people whom dwell near the Earth's mantle where it's still warm if you believe the whole hollow-earth theory thing, which I do). And Hollywood has had a lot of fun at the expense of our irrational fear that all life on Earth will end with a sudden, horrible event. HAHA! High-larious. So while you get down on your knees and kiss the ground in thanks for still being under our feet, check out some of our favorite Earth-ending Disaster Movies.
