The Inside Assassin's Creed III series continues to shed light on the project and today's installment focuses on weapons and combat. This is the good stuff, folks, even if we have to suffer through folks dressed up in powder wigs taking themselves seriously. War is always brutal, but in the Colonial Era two armies clashing was closer to something you might see in Gladiator or 300 than anything we might recognize today. Guys were skewering and chopping at each other with rusty sharp objects and dull blades. Muscle power was very important.

But don't take my word for it. Listen to the scholars and tri-corner hat people tell you what war was like 250 years ago.
