‘Arrested Development’ Returning for Fifth Season

Everyone dust off your favorite Arrested Development quotes because the cult classic series is returning to Netflix for a fifth season! Series star Jason Bateman took to Twitter on Friday to announce that he has officially signed on to play Michael Bluth once more, and we imagine this is only the beginning...

The series ran for three seasons on Fox from 2004-2006 but was given a second life on Netflix back in 2013. Though fan reaction to that season was mixed, it's hard to believe that anyone who loves the show is disappointed to hear that more episodes are on the way. In fact, it's been two years since series producer Brian Grazer announced that there would be 17 more episodes of the show. Whether those are broken up over two seasons or they're going to cram them all into one remains to be seen as Netflix has been mum on any sort of official announcement right now. 

While nothing has been announced as far as when the show is actually returning, I'd have to say that at the very least, we're in the final countdown!
