Anthony Davis and Other NBA Rookies Do a Photoshoot

I don't know what it is about these pictures of number one pick Anthony Davis and some other NBA rookies, but they seem different than most pictures. They're fine, I'm not belittling the photographer or the players but there is just something different about them and it's kind of driving me crazy. Maybe it's the way they're filtered and have this old-timey look to them. Kyle Singler's pose isn't helping either.

Either way, here you get not only Davis, but guys like Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Fab Melo and Jae Crowder. The guys gathered to get their first pics in uniform and some of the shots will end up being their basketball cards. Early bets on who might be the Rookie of the Year? Easy to say Davis but I'm thinking Kidd-Gilchrist might put in some serious work with the Bobcats.

Before you know it, we'll be getting ready for the Heat and Lakers in the Finals.
