A ‘Seinfeld’ Point And Click Adventure Is Something I Can Get behind

  When it comes to homegrown comedy, there’s a heaping helping to choose from in the US. Are you a Big Bang Theory sort of guy, marvelling at how the hell Jim Parsons memorizes his utterly batshit Sheldon lines? Or, y’know, hoping the wardrobe department gives Kaley Cuoco something nipple-pokey to wear for that scene. Whichever.   

That’s more of a contemporary choice, because I’m down with the kids and all that. Those guys have a little way to go before they reach legendary status. Maybe you prefer one of the real iconic shows, the Cheers, Friends and The Simpsons of the world? I’m sure Seinfeld would be a popular choice among you Ego-dudes.

Our ol’ buddy Jerry has always had a special place in gamers’ hearts. Maybe it’s those hidden NES games in his apartment, which just came to light quite recently. Whatever the case, people have been recreating his apartment in Doom and all sorts.

But that won’t cut it for the true Seinfeld hardcore. We want the beloved ‘show about nothing’ to have its own video game about nothing. Which maybe, just kinda sorta maybe, is actually on the way.  Australian indie developer Jacob Janerka started with character mock-ups of a Seinfeld point and click adventure:

From there, as Attract Mode reports, the project has ‘seemingly turned into a possible real deal thing.’ This is all we know of it so far, but still. It's one for sitcom-loving gamers to keep an ogling eye on, that’s for damn sure.
