CELEBRITY
Sam Robeson - February 15, 2018
Before the Kardashians and the Jenners and the Hadids there was the one OG celeb prostitute Paris Hilton, and while it's been nine decades since anyone on the Internet took the time to call her a whore in earnest, over the past few years Hilton has amazingly been able to flip the script and revive her career. And here we are. This resurgence means that A) We care that she's engaged to television actor Chris Zylka, and B) That he directed her in a music video that looks like the background for the porn menus in hotel rooms.
With her burnt sienna spray tan, wardrobe of velour tracksuits, bootcut pleather sex club chaps, and Kitson Kids tube tops bedazzled with "Jizz Gobbler," Paris was always the epitome of 2000's glamour. It appears that she revolutionized the style rather than adopted it, because Hilton has stayed true to her used Robertson Boulevard gutter condom ~lewk~ and is now celebrated as a throwback to the good ol' days. She's the anti-career reinvention celeb. This picture was not taken in 2001:
Hilton was always being herself - an anorexic nymphomaniac Hello Kitty - and in a wild twist, she's offering up more authenticity than current stars who change their looks on a dime to catch the latest hashtag. Jeeze I'm already gearing up for the "well in my day speeches" I'll tell teen strippers when I'm old. Hilton said of her new music song and video:
With this song, I felt it was the perfect time to release it because not only is it Valentine’s Day, but I got engaged and am about to get married. I’m at the next phase of my life and growing up. I’m just so happy and feel so blessed to have found my other half. Chris is such a talented director and has such a great eye. Every time we shoot together I smile. It’s a really genuine smile because I feel safe. I think it made the music video even better to have him direct it.
So stupid. She's still got it.
