The Devil Still Wears Georgina’s Dresses

Women are confused on whether to support Georgina Chapman or not because of her spouse’s rape habit that got slightly out of hand over the years. I mean, if it was only one or two incidents that slipped out maybe Georgina could have actually won the sympathy she's seeking by playing up the completely oblivious wife being taken along for a ride by a hyper horny Hollywood husband. NDAs, couples therapy, and some settlement cash can fix almost anything. If there weren’t hundreds of victims Harvey would have been able to slide his mistake rapes under the rug and would have never tainted Georgina's reputation. But some women feel Chapman was complicit. And when a woman is in cahoots with covering up and keeping quiet about her fat husband forcing his salami on other women the least you can do is boycott her clothing brand. But Anna Wintour is standing by Georgina and wants to revive her dying career as a fashion designer.

Wintour appeared on “The Late Show” and told host Stephen Colbert: “Georgina’s a brilliant designer, and I don’t think she should be blamed for her husband’s behavior.”

According to a fashion-industry insider, “Anna wants Georgina back in the game. They’ve been friends since 2004. She was always front row at Marchesa shows. Wintour took her strongest defense yet, writing, “I am firmly convinced that Georgina had no idea about her husband’s behavior; blaming her for any of it, as too many have in our gladiatorial digital age, is wrong. I believe that one should not hold a person responsible for the actions of his or her partner. What Georgina should be receiving is our compassion and understanding.”

There might be a bit of self-preservation involved as well. “Anna was friends with Harvey, too,” the source said. “She doesn’t want to seem like she — or Georgina — had any idea of his treatment of women.”

Is Georgina to blame? I say yes. Whenever I have a live-in girlfriend it’s almost impossible to sneak in at 2 a.m. after a long hard night of cheating. She obviously was turning a blind eye those times Harvey came home in the wee hours of the morning after a long night of making women watch him wash his wide ass at the Hilton. It’s common knowledge that business meetings don’t end at 4 a.m. but I bet Georgina bought the excuse every time because she doesn’t have any character. Weinstein is not a man you marry because he’s chiseled, charming, good looking, or a high-quality individual. Women marry men like Weinstein for money. And Weinstein’s money bought her a career. It’s not like Chapman made it into the fashion world on her own merit because the dress she made for Scarlett Johansson looks inspired by a used Tampax.
