Spoilers ahead for Avengers: Infinity War, though good luck having lasted this long without this movie being spoiled for you.
The problem that Avengers: Infinity War brought on itself was when they had Doctor Strange say that only one of millions of different scenarios to defeat Thanos would have been successful. You can poke holes in that for days, which is basically exactly what this latest edition of How It Should Have Ended does.
There's a lot of really good stuff in here, like Strange sling ringing Thanos' forearm right off, or Strange turning Thanos into a baby, but I particularly like the variant where Nebula gets the gauntlet. Also, Thor aiming for the arm was the right move as well.
You'd think that they'd be well versed in arm trauma since both Captain America sequels established that Star Wars movies exist in the Marvel Universe. Ah well, such is the problem with taking a bold stand as filmmakers. You're inevitably going to have your defenders and your detractors, and the detractors do love the "death by a million tiny cuts" tactic.
The detractors do get one major thing about Infinity War correct, however, which is that it's not a complete story. They should've stuck with the Part I and Part II thing, which leads me to believe that maybe, just maybe, the title they've been sitting on this entire time is Infinity War Part II.
It's just so perfectly stupid, I wouldn't put it past them.
