HBO Is Working on a Remake of a French P0rn Comedy

Good news, everybody. Yet another television show about porn is headed our way!

You might recall how we told you back in November that Starz was teaming up with Owen Wilson to bring you a TV series about an FBI agent who goes undercover in the porn industry. Now HBO is teaming up with Jenny Bicks, a key writer for Sex and the City Fame, to bring you a remake of a dark French comedy called Hard.

That's right, Hard. As in difficult.

According to Variety, the show will follow a widowed Brentwood housewife who inherits a failing porn company from her husband and struggles to keep it afloat. One can only assume hilarity will ensue.

There's no word yet on who will star in the series since it's just in the very early stage of production. But that doesn't really matter. What matters is that HBO is making a TV comedy about porn which presumably will feature a lot of nudity and thus won't have too much trouble nailing down the "males 18-49" demographic.
