I knew someone who once called 911 because he thought his car was stolen. Turns out he had parked it on the other end of the lot, and the dispatcher was not amused.

Don't be douche and get your act together with Valet. It's an app that helps you remember where you parked, plain and simple. All you have to do is fire the app up and set your parking location by enabling the parking sensor. You can also use it with Bluetooth or your car dock instead. When you leave your car, the app 'remembers' where you parked once it disconnects from the paired Bluetooth device.

When your day is done and you're ready to head home (or head out), then tap on to the 'Find My Car' feature and it'll point you to where you parked, complete with turn-by-turn directions.
