Now that his movie career is pretty much in the official delete bin, Steven Seagal might give international arms dealing a try.

In a move that may puzzle some, but comes as no surprise to those of us who trade in celebrity spectacle, Seagal is being asked to serve as the face of the Russia's weapons industry. Russian news agencies reported that Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin wants the action movie has-been to lead an international marketing campaign promoting the country's arms plants. He even took Seagal on a tour.

Steve hasn't said anything yet, specifically not the resounding, 'What kind of babbling bullshit is this?' he should be saying. (That's from Under Siege, by the way.) Let's face it, after years of fighting bad guys, Seagal is pretty much on the verge of becoming a supervillain, or at the very least a late-game level-boss henchman.

Come on, Steve, you're palling around with the deputy prime minister of Russia now? Unless this is just a deep cover mission, the old you would have roundhoused the smug look right off new you's face. We hope you enjoy, 'Another cold day in Hell.' (Again, Under Siege)
