The debate as to which camera model is the best DSLR of all time still rages on to this day. You have to consider though that while a certain manufacturer might produce the body that you find most suitable for your needs, the lenses that you might want to use could be made by another brand.

Normally, you wouldn't be able to use both together because they just weren't made like that. This has been a problem many photographers have had to deal with--but if the Aspekt SLR camera system somehow gains steam and is released commercially, then it could be the solution to all these woes.

The Aspekt is basically a mirrorless system that features a modular setup. Different modules can be connected and assembled to the other in order to "build" a customized camera of sorts that doesn't necessarily have to exclusively use parts that were made by just one manufacturer.

These modules include a 24-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, a battery pack that comes with an ergonomic grip, a computing processor, and a high-quality OLED monitor, among others.

The Aspekt modular SLR camera system really seems like every photographer's dream, doesn't it?  It was designed by a team from the University of Applied Science in Germany.
