At Egotastic we try to stay positive and look "forward to" rather than "back at" the games the video games that matter most. You should already been up to your neck in Assassin's Creed III, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Halo 4 and the rest of 2012's amazing games and you're more than capable of forming your own opinion and sharing it with the world. That's why they invented the internet isn't it? For 2013 we''ll be looking at an unprecedented amount of quality games over the first few months because every game maker has supreme skill in making games for Xbox 360 and PS3 at this point and this is the last chance to show off before the next Xbox and Playstation suck up all of the oxygen in the room.

So over the holidays we'll be introducing you to the games that will be taking up all of our time and attention in the foreseeable future. They're some of our favorites and we hope they'll be yours. We're going to throw whatever tidbits of info, screenshots and video we have for each game so you don't have to do all of that digging yourself once the new year begins. You know that New Year's Eve hangover usually drags until Martin Luther King day now and 2013 isn't the year to be caught slipping. I mean we'll have just survived the end of the world. It's time to celebrate.

Look forward to more from Egotastic! on:

Dead Space 3

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Tomb Raider

God of War: Ascension

Gears of War: Judgment

Bioshock Infinite

Grand Theft Auto V
