That San Francisco vs. Seattle game last night was a money maker just waiting to be had if you like to bet football. Not the spread, because I thought seven was too high, even though it turned out be exactly that (thanks to Jim Harbaugh). But that under, and I don't even know what it was, but that was pretty much a gimme.
Two strong defenses and suspect offenses? 19 total points in the game? You could have taken the first half under and the total under and made a nice little chunk of money. Hindsight!
So between that and my buddy D.A. the Lions fan calling me out for not picking against the spread, I'm changing that up, growing a pair and picking the six games a week based on the lines. It makes it way more interesting. It also gives more ammo to those of you who like to write to tell me I suck at picking games.
I'm taking New England this week, who happens to be the biggest favorite in week 7. It's a huge number, but I think the Pats are going to smoke the Jets. Should be a good week.
