With the Summer Olympics in London right around the corner, it was high time the U.S. Women's National Team got in some game time action to make sure they're in fighting shape when they take on France, Columbia, and England in group play starting on July 25.
Hope Solo sure looked ready to go to war with the way she played in the team's friendly with Canada on Saturday. We know the woman can dance up a storm, so I guess she decided to remind us she was a bada** on the soccer pitch first. Check out the video of her awesome save in the first half to maintain a 1-0 lead to see what I mean.
Canada was able to tie the game up in the second half, but Amy Rodriguez scored at the 85 minute mark to give the U.S. the victory.
Time to defend the gold in London!
