Twerk Your Way To A Slimmer You

A couple of years ago Miley Cyrus made twerking a worldwide phenomenon. She shook her booty the best that a White girl could do and it made her a superstar. But like all fad dances, eventually the world lost interest. Even Miley decided that she would twerk no more. But that doesn't mean that the twerk is dead, oh no. It's just no longer cool so it has been co-opted by lame people who aren't "with it" as no one says anymore. In this case I'm talking about the world of exercise classes. Yes, that's right, a growing trend has many gyms and studios offering classes in twerking. I guess it is a good workout for your glutes. But that's all I can say about it.

It reminds me of the Macarena. I remember visiting my cousin in Miami before the Macarena hit nationwide and hearing about hot it was "the hottest thing" and how "girls friggin' love it". And the world did go mad for it...for a time. By the time a year went by the world woke up and realized how stupid the whole thing was. But some people didn't get the memo and you still had wedding DJs and other people behind on the times playing it. Let twerking die and go away like the twist and the mashed potato.
