GAMING
chris-littlechild - July 3, 2015
Over in Xbox Town, this month's Games With Gold lineup has already been revealed. It included Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, officially the greatest, pirateiest, skinning-lizards-on-tropical-islands-like-Robinson-Crusoeiest game you'll ever get for free. How do you compete with that?
Ball's in your court, Sony. Let's have an ogle at July's PS Plus offerings.
First up, PS4 offers an odd little selection. Remember Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars? I sure as hell don't, but allegedly it was a racing/soccer game with crazy power-ups and toontastic madness out the wazzoo. Our first download is the sequel, Rocket League. There's also the puzzler Mousecraft, and the beautiful-at-last-year's-E3-but-ultimately-disappointing Entwined.
The latter two can be nabbed on PS3 and Vita too. There's also the intriguing adventure Rain, and the Vita-exclusive arcade bullet-flailing madness of Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved. The selection's kind of ass, all told, but it's all a bit artsy if you feel like getting your highbrow on. Take a look at the whole crop of games in action below.
