Vote to Play Returns to PS Plus, Featuring the Uber-Manly ‘Broforce’

As we know, PlayStation Plus and Games With Gold bring us a new selection of gaming goodness every damn month, all for free. Free in the sense of ‘they've got our asses over a barrel because we have to pay a subscription to play online anyway,' but still. It's better than a kick in the manplums.

The caveat? The choice is, often, kind of ass. You'll see the occasional gem in there, an unheard of title that rises to greatness like Rocket League, but that's a rare thing. A lot of the time we're talking big name games from a couple years ago, which would be great if we didn't already own them. Or weirdly weird-ass indie platformers we have no intention of owning anyway.

As the players of these ballaches, it'd be great if we had some kind of say in what we got each time. Something like Sony's Vote to Play experiment.

Back in September last year, PS Plus users were given the chance to vote for one of a couple games they'd like to see hit the service. The most popular choice made it into the following month's lineup of free titles. In that case, the winner was the well-received Grow Home.

After far too damn long, Sony brought Vote to Play back this week. Polls open next Tuesday, as IGN reports, and the most popular game will be added to March's PS Plus downloads. The offerings are Action Henk, Assault Android Cactus and Broforce.
