The ‘Suicide Squad’ Character Posters? They’re Awesome

Character posters for most movies are pretty boring. They take an image of the actor, run it through an Instagram filter, photoshop it in front of a bunch of other stuff or zoom in really close, and, presto, movie poster!

The character posters for Suicide Squad? They're different. Instead of just tweaking existing images, the marketing folks decided to create some original and totally badass pop art in the form of distinctive (though aesthetically harmonious) skull cartoon for each member of the elite super villain task force.

Do those have you excited for more Suicide Squad? Well, that's good, because on Tuesday night the latest trailer debuts during a half-hour specia called DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League that airs on The CW at 9:30 ET. Be there or be...well, one of the millions of people who just watches it on the internet later.
