Firefly: The Animated Series? (VIDEO)

Reviving Firefly as an animated series is the greatest idea I've heard today and I've heard four ideas today. Right now it's only a teaser by an animator named Stephen Byrne but it's got potential. Firefly ran for only one season but its impact is still felt by fans today. They tried to fill the gap with the movie Serenity, which was awesome but it just isn't enough. I think the execs at SyFy or whatever should seriously consider the idea of an animated series. I would watch it, all my nerd friends would watch it. All geeks would watch it. I guarantee a rating explosion.

It's just easier to do certain things with animation that are cost prohibitive in live action. Plus Nathan Fillion will never age another day in animated form.
