Sony Japan Hawk PS4 Slim the Right Way, the Nutso Way

  There’s a lot going on down Sony way just now. The approaching PlayStation VR they keep BSing about to everyone’s who’ll listen, the fancy-ass new slim model of the PS4… what a goddamn time to be alive and/or a Sony exec it is.  

Now more than ever, our cashtacular is super important to these guys. And you know what that means: the hype train is barrelling towards our faces at top speed, and there’s no cowcatcher to move the fatasses among us out of the way. Sony aren’t dicking around.

Clearly, Sony Japan are pulling out the big guns to hawk the new PS4 model. In the world of completely batshit, grab-your-attention-by-the-scrote-and-never-let-go commercials, there’s no bigger gun than famed DJ Tofubeats. What did he put together to open yesterday’s PlayStation Japan conference? Something pretty goddamn magical, that’s what. I already own a PS4, and saw no freaking need at all for buying this, but on the strength of this video’s awesomeness alone I’m a believer.

The lineup in this sizzle reel pretty well speaks for itself. The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 15, Gravity Rush 2, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, there’s some powerful stuff here. But man, does this track sell it. You don’t need to understand Japanese to appreciate this slice of greatness.
