Mastermind Of The Day: Edgar McClellan – The Bulldozer

Michael Garcia - September 27, 2016

In honor of the wayward criminals of the comedy, Masterminds, in theaters September 30, we're taking a look at some of our world's most inept, clumsy, and dumb-ass criminals.

I think it's a common occurrence that's happened to most of us of having an a-hole neighbor. I know that my downstairs neighbors are a huge pain in my ass. They complain all the time about stuff that isn't even real half the time. I was once reported to the co-op board for playing rock guitar at all hours. I don't own a guitar nor can I play. Still, I never had a neighbor like Edgar McLellan. In a small town in Tennessee McLellan and his neighbor John Higdon got into an old fashioned hillbilly feud. It all started when Higdon called the cops saying that McLellan and some buddies were lurking around his house in camo suits. The cops came and found no evidence of that being the case. So, he did what any rational person would do and started firing into the woods. The cops then arrested Higdon because even in Tennessee you can't go shooting randomly in an area where people might be.

McLellan didn't take kindly to being shot at or having the cops called on him so he did the only thing a man can do in that situation: knock down Higdon's house with a bulldozer. I'm not sure if McLellan just had a bulldozer lying around or if he works in construction or what. The cops returned to Hidgon's house to find it in ruins. Naturally, they found pieces of Higdon's house in McLellan's bulldozer. So they arrested him too. They are both out on bail now. I can't wait to see what these two scamps get up to next.
