There’s no such thing as bad publicity, as the ol’ saying goes. Every time Kim Kardashian hits social media with more shots of her immense greased-up ass, she becomes a little more famous. Whenever Kanye’s latest bizarre Twitter rant is reported on, his ego is fed a little more. Â
If we just ignored these guys, they’d magically fade away like Freddy at the end of Nightmare on Elm Street. But we just can’t do it. The famous remain famous, however many times they’re caught off their heads, upside down naked in a bush. No scandal is too much, no bitching by the press too damaging.
And so it is with Call of Duty. When Infinite Warfare was first revealed, the response from a lot of gamers to yet another clichéd futuristic shooter was less than great. But hell, this one has Call of Duty written on the front of the box. It’ll do just fine. It’s not like anyone’s stopping the biggest name in games any time soon, is it?
Just as many of us, after all, are keen followers of the series. If that’s you, you’ll want to check this out. The multiplayer beta for Infinite Warfare is incoming, and it’s got itself a trailer to hype us up the right way. Check it out.
