I know how much we all suddenly love Zack Snyder's take on DC's biggest superheroes, but let's pump the brakes a bit, okay. Yes, it took Justice League for us to realize that Snyder's stylistic choices actually have the courage of their convictions, as opposed to Joss Whedon just sort of looking to undercut the doom and gloom with random non-sequiturs. However, Snyder is still a cinematic criminal, responsible for Sucker Punch one of the ten worst films ever made.
Snyder's been getting a little ballsy of late and talking smack on social media about DC's decision to back seat his ass after they all woke up and realized he'd driven them a thousand miles in the wrong direction. Nevertheless, Snyder did have plans to pay off a lot of things he set up in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, and mentioned one of those set-ups recently that'll sadly never get paid off.
Snyder took to Vero—a company he presumably owns stock in, otherwise why would he take to it to announce anything—to show off an overlooked detail in Batman v Superman. No, it's not a nod to the character's comic book past or another villain set-up, but rather confirmation that his version of Batman was a sexual deviant who used sex as a way to mask his pain. No, really...
