Would You Pay $21 Million for a Clock? Apple Would

$21 million is a lot of money. Think of all the fancy rides and customized Vespas that you can build with that kind of money. Not to mention memberships to all of your favorite sites and lifetime subscriptions to Playboy and Jugs.

But, no. If you're Apple, you spend that money on something you can use for the legions of overpriced consumer electronics that they're peddling, like the recently-released iPad Mini. Something like this revamped clock design they rolled out with iOS 6.

We're not exactly sure how much money went into developing the clock, but we do know Apple had to shell out $21 million to appease the Swiss Federal Railway (SBB) service. That's because the iOS 6 clock looks a whole lot like SBB's, and since SBB owns the rights to the design... Well, you already know what happened next.
