Elena Delle Donne laments the sexist nature of media coverage of women's sports. Less lamentation over her being born with tall genes that would gift her college scholarships and a few hundred thousand in salary for her fierce below the rim action.
I just can't wait for the day where people want to talk about your skills on the court and not your looks. I wonder how many times a Tom Brady is asked about how handsome he is.
Who the fuck is Elena Delle Donne? I looked it up. She's last year's WNBA MVP. And she's tired of being asked about her looks. Reporters must be attracted to chicks whose vaginas come up to their chins. That is kind of sexy. And also to Tom Brady, because his looks get mentioned all the time. And he actually is hot. For a chick with a butt-chin.
When the WNBA is financially solvent, they can complain about how to drum up press. The media are trying to be nice, desperately seeking out a reason to pretend to care about televised glorified middle-school boys basketball games. If sports reporters focused on WNBA players' skill levels, we'd need more death knells. This isn't a gender issue. It's a watchability issue. No ones giving up their weekends to watch lay-up lines. Back to the cave, Gronk. Do you realize your complaining about people calling you attractive. 6'5" white girl problems.
