Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's classic comedy The Office was first broadcast over a decade ago. I know, it seems like just yesterday that we were laughing at Brent's excruciating quips, Gareth's general demeanor and praying that Tim and Dawn would just get it over with and kiss.
Since then the American version of the show has taken it to even greater heights but what other British programmes are currently on air across the pond that might rival these terrific comedic efforts? Take a look below at some clips from burgeoning UK efforts and then feel smugly superior that your knowledge of TV is grander than everyone else's.
Him And Her - Two lazy layabouts sit around their damp squalor of a home and do very little except for being really funny.
The Thick Of It - Malcolm Tucker will soon be your favourite TV creation ever. Even more than Steve-O.
Friday Night Dinner - Every Friday night two sons return home for dinner with their family and instantly remember why they moved out in the first place.
Touch Of Cloth - Like Naked Gun, but British and with more dismembering and poo jokes.
Peep Show - The odd couple, but they're horrible horrible men.
