As we know, the world of professional sports has had a heaping helping of drug scandals over the years. It doesn't matter whether you're heaving balls, knocking pucks about or cycling like a mad effer, you can always get yourself an advantage by ‘roiding up. You can also always get in the shit for it, natch.
Fortunes lost, careers destroyed, angry fans with torches and pitchforks… that's what drugs do. Like that after school special used to say, just say no.
In the UFC more than anywhere else, this is a hell of a thing. As Kotaku puts it, ‘…plenty of fighters are competing using performance enhancing drugs. Ask fighters what percentage of their opponents are on the juice? Most estimates tend to run between 50 per cent and 80 per cent. So yeah, the UFC has a big drug problem. And it's a problem they are trying to fix.'
How are they doing this? By busting into the homes of UFC champs while they're trying to get their Bloodborne on, that's how.
First up, I didn't know that UFC dudes streaming video games was a thing. But it seems it is. It also seems that Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse' Johnson is one of the most popular of them. Which is no surprise, if you can expect this kind of drama when you rock up to his streams.
