TV & FILM

Don't you hate it when you go to a movie fully expecting it to be something it is not? Yeah well, when that happens, 90% of the time it's because the trailers deliberately misled you. The last time it happened to me was when I went to see Judd Apatow'sThis is 40. I wasn't expecting it to be like Superbad or Bridesmaids, but I was expecting something more like Knocked Up SINCE THEY EXPLICITLY REFERENCED THAT FILM IN ONE OF THE TRAILERS. Instead what I got was a depressing 77-minute quagmire of a dramedy, and I walked out of the theater feeling like an idiot.
But I digress. The point is, it would be nice if all movie trailers were as honest as this (fake) one for the Harry Potter saga, courtesy of the folks over at Screen Junkies. A little while back they started a little series called "Honest Movie Trailers," and their latest opus is an honest look at the entire Harry Potter saga—or as they describe it, "the movie adaptation for people too lazy to read."
It's funny because it's true.
