With all of the criticism of Batman V. Superman one of the comments I've heard most often is that even though the movie sucks, Ben Affleck made a good aging Batman. Many will disagree with that statement but obviously some people like it because that piece of crap has made a ton of money. Last month we reported that Ben Affleck had written a Batman script. Warner Bros. announced that they are indeed moving forward with a Batman standalone movie starring and directed by Affleck. It is unclear if they will also be using his script but I wouldn't be surprised. He's already played the role again in Suicide Squad and will play Batman in the Justice League movies. So, get used to it because Ben Affleck is going to be your Batman for the forceable future.

I fall somewhere in the middle as far as hating on Affleck. I don't think he's necessarily the best actor but he's a pretty decent director and writer. The Town and Argo were pretty awesome and Good Will Hunting was a good script. There are only two ways this can go: either the movie will suck beyond suckage or it will be awesome. I don't see it falling in the middle. Let's hope for the best.
