Normally I'd say the alternate ideas made by studio execs in this sketch about the origins of the plot of ET: The Extra-Terrestrial are crazy, bizarre and abominable. But let's not forget that the filmmaker behind ET also made a little movie called Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls in which Indiana Jones survives a nuclear bomb by hiding in a fridge.
