If there's one thing the internet was created for, it was to be used as an outlet by people who have far, far too much time on their hands. And we thank them for it. We've already got a glimpse of a Star Wars Call Me Maybe video, and now those Trekkies out there can stop shouting at me in Ferenghi to make a Star Trek: TNG one. Because someone already did.
