Victoria Beckham is the best example of the “B word” at the moment and depending on who you’re asking it’ll be different words both beginning with “b” used to describe the same woman. If you’re asking anyone related to her they would say her decision to ruin the Spice Girls reunion is very bold or blunt. But if you ask Scary, Baby, Sporty, or Ginger Spice they’d probably label her a bitch. Rumors were swirling that the Spice Girls were going to go on tour and work on new music but Posh Spice and David Beckham’s personal pecker pin cushion killed off all possibility of a Spice Girls resurgence.
Victoria Beckham: “I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour,” she told Vogue UK during a preview of her autumn/winter 2018 collection in New York today.
The news of the Spice Girls not being able to tour is bittersweet. The good news is there won’t be a new single inspired by Mel B being extorted for spousal support. The bad news is I won’t fulfill my fantasy of zig-a-zig-ah’ing all over at least one of the Spice Girls while backstage. The group’s backup plan in case tour dates don’t materialize is performing at Harry and Meghan’s upcoming wedding or filming a sequel to 1997’s Spice World movie. I doubt they’re allowed anywhere near royalty these days and no producer in their right state of mind is going to film middle-aged pop star has-beens and expect to turn a profit.
