Back in December, fans attending Brazil Comic-Con got a special treat as they went on-set live via satellite with Venom director Ruben Fleischer and star Tom Hardy. Sony has now made that video available on line so the rest of us can see just how awesome it is to watch two guys talk about a movie they're making without showing you a frame of footage from that movie.

In addition to bringing us this video, Coming Soon also debuted this first look at Tom Hardy in character as Eddie Brock, the man who turns into Venom.

It's nothing special, looks like he maybe borrowed three or four of Johnny Depp's coolest bracelets, but that's about it. It also appears that they won't be covering up his extensive tattoos, so that's something I guess. He's also holding what appears to be an address book, so maybe this will end up being a period piece set in the 90s. Or not, who knows?

Anywho, I know it's not much, but this is one of the most anticipated comic book movies of 2018, so I know every little bit helps. Let's hope we get to see a trailer soon. Venom is due in theaters on October 5.
