Back in August it looked like Laura Prepon was leaving the popular and critically acclaimed Netflix series Orange Is the New Black after just one season, meaning we'd never get to see her take part in a shower scene with Taylor Schilling again. Those were sad times.
Today, however, there is cause for rejoicing. According to Us Weekly, the show's producers now say that reports of her departure were premature. "Yes, yes, she is coming back," executive producer Jenji Kohan said. "Not the whole season, but. . . you'll see her for most of it."
Obviously, "not the whole season" is still not enough, but it's a lot better than the measly four we thought she was going to be in. And apparently Prepon is already in negotiations for season three, which means we won't have to endure this kind of scare again next year.
Of course, Kohan did not specify exactly how many nude shower scenes we could expect from Prepon in season two. But I'm assuming there will be, what, seven or eight? I mean, that sounds like a reasonable number to me.
