Tickets To The ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Movie For $600? Sure, Why Not?

You know what they say about movie adaptions of video games. They’re shit, that’s what they say. Horrible-ass director Uwe Boll is notorious for stinking up iconic franchises like Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead, and he’s not the only one. The results are equally bad when movies are made into games, true enough, but that’s a different story.

Most, natch, aren’t worth the price of a movie ticket. You’ll forgive Assassin’s Creed fans for keeping their hopes about the December 2016 film firmly in check. I don’t think I’d forgive any of them for paying $600 for a special edition movie experience, though. That’d be freaking crazy. Even for the guy with the tattoo of Ezio on his scrote.

This is a thing, though. As Game Informer reports, pre-orders are already live for this luxury package, which includes ‘a 2o-inch statue of Brotherhood member Aguilar… a digital copy of the script and some behind-the-scenes extras’ along with the ticket itself. How many better uses of $600 could you name?

Still, if we’re honest, that isn’t all that much more than an IMAX theater ticket anyways. Not if you’re really feeling lavish and bust out a hot dog or something too. You Kanye-esque money pisser-awayer you.
