Michael Garcia - April 19, 2016
I have always loved watching shows on "hidden mysteries" and "unexplained phenomena" since I was a little kid. Not that I believe even a fraction of the crap they say, but I find them entertaining. Ancient Aliens is pretty awesome. Everything that ever happened was because of aliens. Plus they have that dude with the crazy hair. The original series that launched all of these kinds of shows was In Search Of... starring the late Leonard Nimoy. The producers of X-Men: Apocalypse tapped into the style of In Search Of... for this clip from the movie that gives us a little backstory on the titular character of Apocalypse. It tells the tale of the original mutant, named En Sabah Nur, who in ancient times was an evil god doing his thing back in ancient times. Then he simply disappeared. Plus, the whole thing is narrated by Nimoy's Star Trek co-star and internet phenom George Takei.
I hope this movie is good. I'm going to go see it regardless because I have no self control. Plus Olivia Munn in that Psylocke costume.
