There has yet to be any footage from this movie so far that has really set the world on fire. In this new minute-long spot for Oz the Great and Powerful there seems to be a few interesting images, mixed with the right dramatic music. Maybe it's just because it barely focuses on James Franco as much as it does on Mila Kunis, Michelle Williamsand Rachel Weisz.  Which is probably the only reason why someone would want to see this movie. I'm sure it's not for the talking doll or the monkey in a hat voiced by Zach Braff.

Sam Raimi usually doesn't let down (not including Spider-Man 3), but it looks like an even blander CGI world than the one in Alice in Wonderland and using Danny Elfman to do the music probably won't help comparisons.

Oz the Great and Powerful opens March 8th.
