The Sextastic Red Carpet For The Premiere Of “Support The Girls”

I am a little embarrassed to admit this given my occupation, but I am slightly out of the loop when it comes to pop culture. I hide it the best that I can, but the title to this movie is throwing me for a loop. I know that I can just take a shot in the dark, but this title could lead to two different extremes and if I get it wrong then it could lead to the type of public outrage that gets people tarred and feathered.

I am speaking metaphorically, of course. I don’t think anyone has been tarred and/or feathered in this country in at least one hundred years. But now I am kind of worried to fact check that.

Support the Girlsi could mean a lot of different things. It could either refer to a new women’s sports bra that will revolutionize the industry, or it could be a civil rights flick. Making the wrong decision could lead to some shrieking phone calls that I do not look forward to. Admittedly, one of those plots seems much more interesting to me that the other, but for the sake of impartiality I will refrain from saying which.
