‘The Predator Holiday Special’ Will Be Your New Favorite Yuletide Tradition (VIDEO)

Chances are Shane Black's The Predator didn't do much to reignite your nostalgia for this legendary property, but this new two minute short might have the power to do just that. The Predator Holiday Special is like Robot Chicken meets Rankin & Bass, with lots of puppet carnage, action figures doing horrible things, and a heaping helping of hilarity.

Okay, so it's not hilarious, but in two minutes, it manages to be the best piece of Predator cinema since the 1987 original film. Let's face it, that never needed to be a franchise, and it barely is one with nothing but failed attempt after failed attempt to keep it going. That first movie is unimpeachably great, though, there's no denying that.

So whether you're in the mood for some holiday cheer or just really like the sight of a couple of elves and reindeer meeting a gruesome end at the hands of some Predators, this is going to be the only place to scratch that itch. You may not want to get the kids around the ipad for this one, though, best to let them watch Rudolph while you watch this on a loop for a half an hour. There are worse ways to spend your time, believe me.
