The Steelers finally got a road win and it couldn't have come at a better time. Pittsburgh went into Cincinnati and handed divison rivals the Bengals their third straight loss and also stayed a game and a half behind the Ravens in the AFC North. The Steelers have to be feeling good about their chances in the division after Baltimore got their asses handed to them in Houston.
The Dallas Cowboys were in the running for the Road Warrior title this week after winning a tighter than it should have been game in Carolina. Tennessee, Green Bay and New Orleans were the other road teams to win yesterday. If Detroit can win in Chicago tonight, the NFC North will get really interesting.
Mark Sanchez nearly led the Jets to a huge win in New England, but fumbled in overtime to end their chances. Sanchez showed flashes of why he's still the man in New York, throwing for 328 yards a week after he threw for 82, but the Jets kicked four field goals and you don't usually beat the Patriots by blowing red zone chances.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers put up 30 points on the Rams defense, who had only been giving up 18 a game coming into the week. Tampa Bay nearly came back to tie the Saints and force OT in that game, but Vincent Jackson went out of bounds before catching the game tying TD. It'll be interesting to see if the Saints can rip off a handful of wins now and get back in the hunt.
The Lions head to Chicago tonight to finish off week seven, with the Bears looking to get to 5-1 and keep sole possession of first place in the NFC North, which has become one of the toughest divisons in the league suddenly.
