The New ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Clip Has Less Raccoon Than I’d Hoped

There's a new Guardians of the Galaxy clip on the interwebz, so that's pretty cool. The only problem is this "new" clip was pretty much covered in the trailer, aside from the cool leg jets.



To be honest, I was really hoping for some more screen time for Rocket Raccoon. Star-Lord and his captor look cool, but I see smug white guys and bald black dudes every single day. What I don't see everyday is a raccoon using a weapon. If you want get people hooked, show more of the rodent firing machine guns. That will put asses in the seats. That said, even a rehashed Guardians of the Galaxy clip is better than another scene from The Other Woman, so I guess I should quit bitching.


Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters August 1st.
