The New Godzilla Looks Weird

Godzilla is the giant radioactive lizard that just won't die. After a couple of crappy American versions of the movie in the last 20 years, Toho Studios in Japan are resurrecting the king of beasts in Godzilla: Resurgence. Toho made 28 Godzilla movies since the 60's and in this one, he does not look friendly. In fact, he's really funky looking. He's all scarred and bloody and looks plenty pissed off. What appeals to me about this is that they are using practical effects instead of some CGI crap that looks fake as hell. On the other hand, this Godzilla definitely looks like a guy in a suit. I guess it's a trade off. Either you have something that looks like it's made out of latex or some computer generated crap made in a basement in LA. 

I'm going to watch it. I am a glutton for punishment, I guess. However many Godzilla movies get made, and no matter how bad they are, I will always end up watching them. What's wrong with me?
