Maybe the Dolphins are turning a corner. After dropping two straight OT games, Miami was 1-3 and heading into a game in Cincinnati that really could have put them in a hole. Instead, they shut down the Bengals' improved offense and held on for a 17-13 win to get the coveted Road Warriors of the Week award. The Bears made a strong case by thumping the Jaguars in Jacksonville, but that was pretty much expected.
Robert Griffin III got the sense knocked out of him by the Falcons and had to leave the game, and Atlanta held on to get to 5-0 on the year. Griffin couldn't even remember what quarter it was after getting drilled, and that ended his day. Andrew Luck showed that the Offensive Rookie of the Year race is far from over after throwing for 362 yards in the Colts' upset of Green Bay.
Baltimore squeaked by Kansas City, but the big story was the seemingly happy Chiefs fans apparently cheering a Matt Cassel injury. Cassel has struggled, and the crowd's reaction 'sickened' right tackle Eric Winston. Not cool if they were really cheering for Cassel's injury.
The Giants fell behind to Cleveland 14-0 in the first five minutes, and then decided to outscore the Browns 41-13 over the next 55 minutes. Ahmad Bradshaw ran wild for 200 yards, and rookie David Wilson broke off a 40-yard TD run of his own.
Fantasy owners who have Chris Johnson were back to being pissed off, as the Titans' RB only managed 24 yards on 15 carries. Pathetic, really.
It was a great week, and tonight's capper of Houston visiting the New York Jets should be entertaining. The Texans' defense is lights out and the Jets offense seems to be operating in the dark. Could get ugly.
